The next basement bites the dust...The men worked for 12 hrs on the basement...while the kidz played and had a blast, and us ladies did the same!

Lost Tooth #2

2nd tooth ...GONE!

I'm on the computer, and Haylee comes up to me and says "Mommy, don't freak out!" and she has her hands clasped together...so I'm thinking she's got a bug in her hand, but there is NO WAY she'd hold a bug...and then she says while showing me "my baby tooth came out"....awwww, I got all sentimental again. Gosh, if there is one thing clear in my head, it's when her two bottom baby teeth came thru, at the exact same time...it's so darn teeny-tiny!! We'll put it under her pillow and the nice Tooth Fairy will reward her again!! This means...braces are not far behind...ugh!

It's rare when all 8 siblings are in one room, let alone the complete 10-package...so happy we had the opportunity. We actually are having professional photos taken June 7th on the beach...my mom has been begging to get a beach pic with all her grandkids...photos to come!

It was 4 mos in the making, and seemed like forever to get here...finally the BIG day arrv'd and my mom was SHOCKED!!! Packed house, great weather, tons of fun...huge success!! A BIG Thank You to Staci and Tina for alllllllll their hard work in helping make this event run smoothly!!!! You guys ROCK!

HAPPY HOUR!

It's been ages since I've actually attended happy hr after work! Usually because I have to pick up the kids after school, and I guess lack of desire to drive all the way back to Wilm. But this time, all bets are off...I'm making the trek back and forth because I know it's not something I get to do often! FANTASTIC time...great weather too!!! I just luv my friends!!!

Another gorgeous day! FINALLY...I couldn't take another rain soaked day...

After Ashlee's party yesterday, we invited 3 of her cousin's to spend the night...they had a blast! Jim and the girls all made pancakes, eggs and bacon and served me home made cards and breakfast in BED (what a treat!)...later, we will head to my mom's for a bbq...nice relaxing day! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

What a great day yesterday! A bit rushed since I got zero errands done Friday (thx in part to the carpet guys who came at 9:30am and left at 7:30PM!!!!)....so needless to say I was doing it all last minute...thankfully the rain held out, the day was beautiful, so the kids got to enjoy the new water slide...huge hit! Another added bonus...the basement is 90% done, so the kids were able to utilize that play space as well.

There's a FIRST for everything...and this was our first EVER wash-out for PTP...never in all the years did it rain allllll day long. But, have no fear...we made the most of a rainy day by putting up a huge tarp, and Jim bought a new tent! It was not fun walking thru the mud to hit the bathroom...and hate to admit this; but on the way back to our car after it ended, I bit the dust, or should I say MUD! Right there, in front of the world to see...in a dress no less! I have bruises all down my right side and I feel like a truck hit me. TG I brought extra clothes to change in for 1717. A wet, but FUN day (thx Joey!)
