GNO...Birthday Celebrations!

September was a busy month for birthday's...Jody, Kim, and Diana! Sooo, that calls for a GNO!! A bunch of us went to see the movie "All About Steve"...hysterical!! Then off to Mikimoto's to catch up w/ the rest of the crew for some much needed drinks!!

Polish Fest!

Friday night Jim got done work earlier than usual and we were able to head to the waterfront to go to the Polish fest...kids had a great time! I was bummed I didn't get to have any authentic Polish food...lines were TOO long...:(

Gymnastics!

Saturday was their first day of gymnastics...Jim was not home so it was mommy duty! At first Ash wanted nothing to do with it, but I asked if they could give her a quick tour and that did the trick, TG! They both loved it!

A gorgeous Sunday...off to Riverfront to support Staci in her first 5K run for cancer! Awesome job, Staci!!! Then we headed to Ale House for brunch!!!

This year we all decided to take turns hosting an EAGLES game bash...the first one Karen & Frank hosted it....awesome food...great home...the best of friends!! You can't go wrong!

95!!

Jim's pop-pop (the girl's GREAT pop-pop) turns 95 years old...we all celebrated this big day at Harry's Seafood on the waterfront! He's an amazing man and the girls just adore him!!! What a great day!

BBC opening!!

A fun night out to celebrate the opening of the new BBC in Greenville made it another chance to spend with my good friends...!

Labor Day Party-Sept 2009

Hard to believe the Summer of 2009 is almost at an end! But, we look fwd to the fun of Fall, and um, maybe Winter...hurry up Spring!!!! Anyway, we hosted the 2009 Labor Day BBQ, and thank you to all who brought and made their delish dishes..!! Awesome time had by all!!

It was a bit chillier than we'd hoped but NO RAIN, so we can't complain...

Just Beachy!!

We decided to take the challenge and hit the beach during one of the most busiest Holdiay's ever...Labor Day weekend! The day went as planned...Up early, had everyone all packed, sandwiches, beverages, snacks, beach stuff, etc...we hit zero traffic, got a great spot on the beach, had awesome weather! We were there by 10am!
We decide by 3pm we'll take showers and be even more daring and hit the boardwalk and Funland...so, me and Ash get our showers, and I go to open my bag to get dressed, and to my horror, I FORGOT to pack my clothes!!!! There I stood, in the buff, with NO CLOTHES other than my sopping wet bs...DANG! So, I gritted my teeth, stepped back into the sopping suit, and dealt the hand I gave myself...you just DEAL!
So, off to the boards we go...low and behold, we all found perfect and CLOSE parking spots...YAY! We grabbed some grubb, then hit Funland, and ended the night with ice cream...
In a nutshell, fear not the Holiday...take the risk...it's well worth it!!!!
