First Front Tooth

Haylee has had her 2 front teeth loose for months, but no go...then on Christmas morn, she was thrilled the one tooth finally gave way and came out. The other one is not far behind. This makes her 3rd baby tooth to come out. Showing her lil' sis her tooth...

Holiday Family Gatherings

Nothing more important that FAMILY! Especially when times are tough, you have so much support and love! I look fwd to the Holiday's every year, because it's the ONE time that we all gather...this year was really hard, but we are making the best of it. The kids are having the BEST time playing and hanging out, and it really has helped boost my dads spirits some.

THIS is the song that started it all...my first encounter with LSMJ at none other than The Stone Balloon. I was 'kidnapped' by a bunch of guys I knew from Scratches...we walked in the Balloon and this song was playing (now mind you, back THEN they were much more active, and there was a mosh pit going on too.) I stood in amazement taking it all in and I was HOOKED! I told my brother and friends and we went to every show...still a fan, but man did they rock the show back then!! This song is my FAVFAVFAV song!

After a hellish few weeks, Tina convinced me to come out for a bit to clear my head and have some fun...so, we hit Firebirds to meet up w/ some old friends...then we decided to hit Wilm for a lil' LOVE!! We always end the night w/ our FAV food...Chalupa, baby!!!!!

2009 Snow Storm

We hit a record for 2009...huge snow storm, and DE declared a STATE OF EMERGENCY!! I am not a fan of snow or cold....sure it looks all purdy, but it's more a pain...roads are a mess...etc. We were supposed to go out to dinner this day...and that got canc'd....so, kids and Jim had fun...I ventured out for a short time...but way too cold!!!

The bar could be just that — dead. Since last Wednesday the lights have been out and doors have been locked. We've heard a number of reasons, including problems with the plumbing, but employees were notified before the Thanksgiving holiday that the bar would be closing for business. No word on whether or not renovations will take place or new owners will move in. Stay tuned."

What a sad shame! I used to live across the street from this iconic bar...knew the owner's and had some GREAT memories there! Me and my husband take our 2 young girls there after the ST. Patrick's parade every year for lunch...it was very kid friendly, not ever crowded! NOW, I have no idea where we'll eat for lunch....I am sorry to see this close!
