Ok, I'll be the first to admit I was skeptical about joining FB. I wanted nothing to do with this, nor did I have time to do it...but, a far away friend sent me an invite to join, so I decided to join and give it a whirl, since just about everyone I knew was jumping on the FB train!
At first it was great...a bit addicting. I found old friends, relatives, old classmates, old boyfriends...and it was fun to catch up and see what everyone was up to...share pics, etc.
NOW, I'm about 3/4 of the way to the point of dogging the whole thing...flat out canceling for good! I am finding it to be more of a nuisance than anything else. You have to be careful what you say, what you post, etc...or people just take things way too personally or read into things the wrong way (I can honestly say I've had it happen to me!) Maybe it's letting people in TOO much into your life..?!
Anyway, I stumbled upon this article and it's RIGHT ON...it's titled 15 REASON TO QUIT FACEBOOK. Every point, I laughed and thought, EXACTLY!
