Saturday SALUTE...Point-to-Point

For decades, this has been a tradition that never gets OLD...nor do you feel OLD...it's an event for all ages! Here's a rerun from last years fun!

Soggy weather and sickie days...

Flat out ZONKED...Ashlee... Early morn playtime..

What a change from what our busy w/e was supposed to be: 9am soccer, 4pm bd party, 7pm cocktail party and Beef & Beer...now, zero!! Haylee was home sick Thurs and Fri, with the end result being she had STREP...what a horrible, painful illness...we almost hit the ER several times Thurs night. And to top it off, it's RAINING today...but, when it rains, ya get things done inside the house...so be it!

We'll make the changes and make it fun...Dunkin Donuts for breakfast, McD's Happy Meals for lunch, pizza for dinner, and movie and WINE for mama...what a lazy but great day confined inside...Haylee is feeling so much better. Jim is going to the beef n' beer solo (it's a benefit for his friend whose wife died suddenly and they had 2 young girls the same ages as ours), and I will stay home with the sickies...We'll rent a movie & make the most of a yucky day! Get lots-o-rest for PTP tomorrow...did my rain dance already...:)

Retreat TREAT

While the men were away on retreat in Malvern, the women decided to do a retreat of their own! We decided to have a fun gathering & sleepover...kids had a blast playing outside...women had a blast catching up, enjoying the weather and grilling, perfect weather...LATE night!!!

His bd is actually Apr 25th, but since he will be away with all the men in retreat, we moved up his celebration a week early...GREAT weather too!!!

Soccer Time

A gorgeous day for a soccer game...however Haylee awoke with an ear ache...some drops did the trick. I was snack mom AND it was picture day...so lot's of hurrying...! Haylee was really exhausted in the game today...but she trooped thru it with her bright RED face!!! Love this weather!

A truly fun day for all....kids had a blast getting showered with Easter goodies...off to church, then to brunch at Jim's aunt's...then dinner at my moms proved to be a LONG day of running around(esp since I'd been on the run since Thursday.)

Oh Holy Night....

Ok, so it's HOLY THURSDAY...and Staci has graciously offered a last minute dinner at her house...SA-WEET...!! I just so happen to be OFF tomorrow, so why not make the most of this opportunity to get the kids together and meet up with some friends!! Kids had a blast with all their fun Easter activities...mommies had fun chatting and catching up with their friends...good food, wine always a good mix!!!

A very WINDY day, but mild temps made it nice...Haylee did awesome and scored a goal! Ashlee had fun with her buddy, Brady...! Way to go, Haylee!!! Haylee asked if tonite we could rent a movie and order pizaa...sounds perfect to me!

Last Friday we hosted a last minute happy hour at our house...tons of appis, salmon, pizza and spirits to go around...top off the night sitting by the fire pit. Great way to end the week!!
